White Cover is an independent design studio based in Heraklion, Crete. Since our establishment in 2011, we have shareda common vision: to create brands that are visionary, innovative, and inspiring.
We offer a wide range of design services, specializing in branding, identity design, photography, and digital projects. We are committed to delivering impactful design and communication for our clients, helping them to influence their audience by creating powerful brand narratives. We consider our clients as partners collaborating with us towards our shared goal: to delve into the essence of the brand and reveal its core values in a manner that not only captures the attention of its audience but also resonates with them on an meaningful and emotional level.
White Cover consists of designers from the fields of photography, visual communication, and interactive media. As we emphasize the importance of teamwork, we also collaborate with other designers, brand strategists, marketers, copywriters, illustrators, architects, and artists. Therefore, our task is to establish a creative hub where people can collaborate to generate exceptional ideas.
In our free time, we love to create custom series of products, mainly inspired by various Greek destinations. All products are exclusively designed and crafted in Greece in collaboration with small manufacturers and workshops to achieve premium quality. :)

Sofia Maraki_ Creative director & founder
Sofia Maraki is a graphic designer and the founder of white cover creative studio. She holds a Master of Arts in Design (Visual Communication & Interactive Media) from University of Derby (validated program offered by Vakalo Art and Design College, Athens). Nearly 20 years, Sofia has been working in the field of advertising. For many years she worked as video editor at major Greek TV production companies. As an Creative Director she's responsible for the creative ideas and the final image of the products and services designed by white cover.
Vassilis Goumas_ Creative photographer & partner
Vassilis Goumas, white cover’s leading photographer has many years of experience in the field of architectural and commercial photography. He graduated from ESP (European School of Photography, Athens). He started his professional career in 1998 by teaching photography to students of the University of Athens. For many years he was the chief photographer of "The Golden List" special editions by imako media SA. As a freelance photographer, Vassilis has photographed preeminent hotels, shops and restaurants. His portfolio also includes industrial areas and major Greek private clinics pictures. His work is focused in the creation of signature photos that includes: architectural & storytelling shots. In 2011, Vassilis became co-owner of white cover design studio.
Stamatis Economou_Copywriter
Stamatis Economou has studied English Language and Literature in the University of Glasgow. For the past decade he has been freelancing as a copywriter, translator and editor, along with tutoring English to adults. His work can be found in a number of websites and e-zines, especially in the ones focusing on art in all of its forms. However, his one true passion has always been literature and has published a number of short stories in various anthologies.
