For its 2nd edition, CINEphil_101 evolved into a complete visual storytelling system inspired both by the festival’s logo and by the city of Heraklion itself.
The logo’s iconic “thinking figure” transforms this year into the festival’s official mascot — a playful and instantly recognizable character moving through an illustrated version of the city. Elements of Heraklion’s architecture, everyday life, and cultural identity are integrated into the creative direction, connecting the festival with the urban landscape and its people.
The illustration style, combined with bold typography, creates a visual identity that functions both as a cultural narrative and as a contemporary communication system.
